The Jewelry Guy
I met this guy when I was at a party at The Rivington hotel and it took place in the Penthouse suite/private rooftop. I was chatting with my girlfriend Laura and somehow we ended up in conversation with the Jewelry guy and his British friend. Anyway, eventually she got bored and jumped into the hot tub with her dress on and I continued talking to this guy. He invited me to a pool party in Long Island that weekend, but I declined the offer. So instead we exchanged info and eventually went on a date not long after. We went on several dates actually but nothing ever really happened with him. He was a really nice guy, but all he talked about was Jewelry and only watch the Home Shopping Network when they were doing Gem showcases. Or he would be online looking at Jewelry while I was hanging out at his apt. He worked in the business, but he was obsessed to the point where it was the only thing he ever had to talk about. It was boring and I had no interest in his diamonds unless he was going to give me some. He never did by the way. Another thing is that he mostly ate at whole foods. He never bought groceries home or really ate out a lot and he would oftentimes invite me to dinner at whole foods which I think was pretty lame since I KNOW he made a lot of money. He never really took me anywhere fancy mostly because that just wasn’t his style but he also had no game either. It took him a really long time to try to kiss me and he never slipped me the tongue. Once while we were laying on his sofa though, I was surprised when he rubbed my bum and slipped his hand down the back on my pants. I tried not to laugh and enjoy the moment. Anyway after a couple of months of ordering take out and watching TV with him or going to whole food or the occasional mid tier restaurant, he decided to fall off the face of the Earth. That’s right, He decided to stop calling me. He sent me a really long text message saying that he was going through some personal and family crisis and hoped that I would be supportive and was sorry about not being able to get into any detail about it. I shook it off and moved on until I realized that I left a pair of earrings at his apt. I let him know about it and a couple months later while dining with my friend Jill for her birthday party, he drove to the place we were at to give them back to me. I went outside and he was in his black Mercedes Benz with a bunch of other people. He handed me the earrings wrapped in tissue. Then I turned around in my fabulous outfit and walked away without saying a word. I think that the way he ended things with me were coward like and I didn’t want anything to do with him. Time has passed since then obviously and we are now friends who keep in touch on occasion. I know he regrets how foolish he was and it feels great!

I can't stand cowards, I don't understand why some men can't be honest and just be blunt rather than making up stupid excuses I mean seriously we would rather hear the truth, what do they think, that we are stupid enough not to figure things out. pshhhhh...
