So I made reservations for us to have dinner at this little “French” Bistro called Antibibes. Strangely enough, the only thing French about this place was the tiny wine list. They had mostly Italian dishes on the menu. I had never been before but it looked good on the website. The food wasn’t anything to talk about so I won’t. Anyway, he was waiting for me outside when I arrived. He was wearing a pink polo shirt, jeans and glasses. This was the first time I’d seen him in glasses and he looked really adorable in them. So we ate and shared a bottle of red and as the wine began to take its toll some flirtation began to erupt which followed with an over the table smootch. No tongue, gross! I don’t make out in restaurants unless I’m in a fairly private area and we were right in the front surrounded by loud and annoying people. After dinner we took a look at the dessert menu and of course the ONE thing that I wanted wasn’t available that night. I guess they sold out or something..whatever. So we decided to leave. Oh by the way, I forgot to mention that he had a 10 pm curfew that night. Guess he needed to get home to study and sleep. So like the perfect gentleman that he is, he walked me home. As we got to my building there was a couple outside fighting which I knew was going to totally ruin the mood I was in. I was full, wined up, and feeling strong sexual chemistry with this guy. Of course I wasn’t going to have him come up because I still don’t know him PLUS everyone knows I don’t sleep with men that I’m not in a relationship with. So I took one step up on my stoop (at this point we are eye level) and I turn around and I’m not sure who kissed who, but I suddenly found myself wrapped up in an amazing and totally sexy lip lock session with him. His hands caressed my back and hips and our bodies were perfectly aligned closely to each other. He subtly asked if he could come up when I “reminded” him of his curfew. Even if he didn’t have one, I’m sure I would have found a couple of other excuses not to invite him up. I know this sounds harsh and prudish but when it comes to dating. I’m VERY old fashioned. A man has to work to earn my affection and he is no exception even though he is rather exceptional. Stay tuned…
