Dorky Finance Guy
So I left work and went home to change t-shirts and shoes to meet up for Tea with the Finance guy I met a couple weeks ago. Obviously I wasn’t going to get all gussied up for tea in the East Village. I got there first and passed the time by reading the New York Times. He showed up right on time wearing Cargo shorts…Holy Grossness! But he was also wearing a big smile, which was flattering. He asked if I wanted to order something as if there was something there besides Tea. So we both ordered the same thing since there was a plethora of options and being a Libra it’s difficult to make those types of decisions. The tea was good, the conversation wasn’t. It was pretty non-existent. And I felt like I was interviewing the poor guy because he was giving me nothing to work with and was completely void of personality. So after about 45 minutes of questions and awkward silence it was over. He had a dinner thing, and I just wanted to go home because I was exhausted. I think I may have been too much for him. Perhaps a shy, quirky girl would have been better suited for this man. Tomorrow I have 2 dates…Stay tuned.
